A look back at the solar eclipse: The secure experience with DLF Sécurité
Last Monday, DLF Sécurity had the honor of participating in a major event at Parc Jean-Drapeau: a solar eclipse. This exceptional day required meticulous planning and impeccable execution on our part to ensure the safety of all participants.
The access control was one of our main responsibilities. With an expected attendance of almost 100,000 people, we implemented stringent measures to ensure that only authorized individuals could gain access to the site. Our team of 120 experienced security guards was strategically deployed to monitor entry points and ensure that everything ran smoothly.
Crowd management was also a top priority. We implemented strict search protocols at every point of entry. Working closely with event organizers and local authorities, including the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), we coordinated our efforts to ensure the safety of all participants.
Beyond our operational responsibilities, this day was also an enriching human experience for our team. Interacting with the participants and sharing their enthusiasm for this celestial event was a real privilege.
